I have 2 rust servers and both of them have an issue with large lag spikes (about 10 sec of lag) when new players join. I'm hoping somebody else has maybe had a similar issue and knows how to fix it. I've tried to go through all the plugins and remove the ones that log player data on join such as player ranks etc and unloading those plugins with no luck.
The issue has nothing to do with my machine or the machines internet connection so please do not try to blame that for being the root of the issue.
