I want a bird for a pet but whats stopping it from flying away when I take it for walks???????????/
A leash.
As I was young we had pet birds. One time I took a cage of one bird and tried to see if I could hold it in my hand. It flew around in circles and I got in deep shit.
If only that bird knew what it was like out of the cage, it would've gotten used to the experience. But welp... Alas I was in deep shit lol
You joke but there are actually harnesses that you can use with birds that function like a leash that don't snap the birds leg when it tries to fly.
This guy is pretty on point too, I work with birds and they can be right cunts. Its even funnier cause he's right about the smart birds too, people want them cause they talk then never play with them and then get bitten to shreds when they try and then complain that their bird is a dick.
Ravens are cool as hell looking birds, but I certainly wouldn't want one as a pet. Exotic pets in general require a shit load of care and maintenance, as well as take up a considertable amount of your daily routine.
Most birds are literal sociopaths, and care about you the same way a spoiled perpetually child cares about getting their way with you involved. Some social parrots are different, the caveat there being social, and social doesn't mean you and the bird, it means other birds.
