The outbreak is linked to Del Monte vegetable trays with fresh broccoli, cauliflower, celery sticks, carrots and dill dip.
The trays have a "Best if used by" date of June 17, 2018 and were sold at Kwik Trip, Kwik Star, Demond's, Sentry, Potash, Meehan's, Country Market, FoodMax Supermarket, and Peapod stores in Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.
Cyclosporiasis is an intestinal infection caused by the cyclospora parasite. People are infected by consuming food or water contaminated with the parasite.
Imagine having paranoia and or ocd about things being contaminated and finally beating it by eating new foods more bravely and then this shit happens to you.
This is very specific, are you trying to tell us something?
Del monte massively sucks anyways
Just painting a hypothetical scenario that's all, I thankfully did not get poisoned or infected by anything other than my own idiocy.
As someone who regularly eats from similar vegetable trays, a damn image of the product in question would be nice, CNN.
From what I found, it's only the 28oz trays being reported, but news sites are showing a variety of images
