https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvAu5QSETi8 possibly a better Stranglehold game than the actual Stranglehold game
doubtful seeing as this is top-down and third-person suits the playstyle so much better. just look at max payne as well. no offense toward the game itself because it looks great but i really doubt itll surpass max payne or stranglehold in feel and 'Hong Kong-action' vibes. it'll have the vibes, just not as strong.
Something's wrong here hmmmm... https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/150878/2993931a-980c-4512-89f3-44e607180a35/image.png Looks cool though, reminds me a bit of Max Payne
Oh man I hope they have some songs from Revin Goff in there still. https://soundcloud.com/revingoff/genocide-city-zone
Man, it's been a while since the first prototype footage of this game was shown. Though it's funny how no one is making the Hotline Miami comparisons it drew back then.
that was my first and most prominent thought upon seeing this, the Hotline Miami similarities that is. other than the bullet time i don't see any Max Payne vibes myself
It looks like a John Woo video game which is neat.
it reminds me of what Hotline Miami 2 could have been had the dodge rolls and dual-wielding actually worked okay or had any practical applications
Huh, just Googled this yesterday and assumed it was vaporware now. Still pumped for this thing.
Hotline Miami 2 is now this weird anomaly for me. I have zero interest of ever, EVER beating it again, but oh my god that soundtrack
And had level design at least half as good as the first game.
It does, but I can't get enough of that setting/atmosphere that the series has.
The Stranglehold game is fine if you're getting it nowadays since it's cheap and it no longer require a supercomputer to run.
