I feel like this forum could benefit from having a 'Lock Reason' field or something. So if a moderator decides to close a thread without making a final post, then we at least know why.
I mean ya in this case it wouldn't change anything, but it's just an idea.
(Also hopefully the Q&A thread is reopened soon, I think there is still a lot of valuable discussion to be had)

it's just so unprofessional and really gives a "fuck you, i'm in charge so i can do whatever" vibe to the community, at least for me
In the end Hezzy is just the messenger.
He probably doesn't know what to do, because Garry makes the decisions.
Hezzy's is expected to do ~something~ about things he can't control in the first place.

Guys, I'm honestly on the verge of giving up on our internet home. Seeing this forum die is like seeing the last gasping breaths of a dying man, and it fucking pains me so much. Every day I'm reminded more and more of that line from the first chapter of All Quiet on the Western Front: "The skeleton is working its way to the surface. [...] In a few hours it will all be over".
Every decision made in the last 2 months seems to be making things worse and that little moment of hope where @Hezzy looked like he was going to engage in dialogue with us just serves to crush my morale even more. Fuck.
