Timing out a lot on GMod

Hi,

For the past half a year/year or so I have been playing on GMod servers a lot. When I started playing I had no problems but recently I have started timing out a lot. I can play around 5-30 minutes before I time out and I have to join the server again. I usually have high pings on servers because I live in Asia and I connect to UK servers but I was wondering if there is any way to fix this.
