I quote Blood, Shadow Warrior, and Duke 3D constantly with my friends and with my dad. He's the one who got me into these games back in the day.
Thank god BloodGDX is a thing, makes playing Blood so much easier
PS1 was the first console I ever owned, and I still have it. Disc read head is buggered though, and hard to get a replacement part from someone who doesn't try and scam you. Thank god for chargeback in them cases.
Make way for the best FF games

I played FFVIII first before any other FF so it holds a special place place in my heart. Many good childhood memories.

I never owned Tomba* but I did have a demo disk that had a demo of it. The demo was really fucking long. It went all the way past the bit where you go to the elf village and have to rescue the lost elves.
*I also remember the good old days of needing to find a game in a store to be able to play it. I missed quite a few games either because stores didn't stock them or, frustratingly, they never came out in Ireland. The pain of seeing really cool games online or on British TV and knowing there was no way for me to get them is one I'll never forget. I can see Britain on a clear day, just ship a few thousand copies over.
At least emulation is possible, one way to experience games you weren't able to in the past.

This song here is the fucking bomb. My dad used to play this in the car all the time when I went on holidays to Donegal till I was 10. Good memories.
