Thailand cave rescue
Fucking kudos to all the divers, medics, engineers and everyone else involved on the ground.
It's amazing to me how the divers are able to do their job while carrying those huge balls of steel.
Its nice seeing a whole country and world behind this, helping and all that
Fantastic news. Humans are capable of doing some incredible things.
It makes for good ballast.
God that is amazing, I hope for a fast recovery.
Would be cool to see them at the World Cup
If only there had been no casualties instead of losing the brave volunteer diver who died whilst setting out oxygen for the others. It's a massive consolation that these kids made it out alive though.
I hope the kids all recover well
It's amazing they managed to get everyone out alive, the fact a navy seal died showed how easy it was to mess up even if you're highly experienced and a million times better than my initial fears that after it took so long to find them they would be dead. Shows what the world can do when everyone comes together.
is it me or does the source not actually say how they got all of them out
i tried reading through whatever terrible format that website used, but it felt like i was just reading the same parts over and over again
It’s nice to finally hear some good news! I hope they recover from this experience well.
two professional divers go in and escort one person at a time out with a tether while carrying extra oxygen tanks

trying to find a source on this image but i can only find it reproduced in places
I know the cave was really deep, but damn just knowing it takes 3 hours of swimming holy crap, that's quite a trek. Really do wish no one had to die and the Navy Seal could see all these kids rescued. But still I'm glad all of the kid and the coach made it out safe and sound.
This was an amazing feat pulled off by the Royal Thai Navy and all parties involved. They were fighting against Mother Nature and had every odd stacked against them. I mean, they had to teach kids who were starving, inside a damn cave, in darkness for two weeks on how to properly use dive equipment and extract them safely.
How narrow are the "Narrow places"?

Holy fucking hell, yeah fuck that
That's not the cave; that's a video filming a cave in Wisconsin, shot in 2012. The real cave is twice this width.
Well, the next best sources are straight from the media and their graphic displays of the cave. Replaced it for proper posting.
He's a good graphic explaining it all
Thai boys rescue
Goddamn. I remember not too long ago reading that they would probably have to stay in the cave for a couple of months for the rain to die down.
