• Feedback service for voting on issues or new features

Most big products have this neat thing for voting on issues and new features like uservoice.com or some other alternative feedback service. Doing this will not only make it clear which issues need to be addressed first ( considering they've been voted by enough people ) but it will also give a nice overview of what are the features/fixes that people are looking forward the most. A forum isn't exactly a good place to handle feedback, because most people are silent or tend to forget to follow up. So a place for votes would fit better for handling feedback. In my opinion, this could make feedback more manageable and provide a nice overview of whats being taken care of. Tell me what you think. We had a thread asking for everyone's top 5 features like month or two ago, should probably boil all the results down and do a strawpoll What is more important to you for the...

An idea that is (probably) feasible in terms of being easily integratable with the current forum: I think it would be nice if there was a subforum or child forum that is specifically for threads about suggestions or issues that are resolvable (separate from meta). In this subforum, ratings would be limited to only agree ratings (similar to old PD). Threads in the subforum would be sorted by amount of agree ratings in the OP rather than most recent post in order to identify issues that are most desired. Threads that are resolved would be locked by a mod or highlighted green, similar to when the OP accepts an answer in a question thread, in order to identify issues that are resolved or rejected.
