It’s less clicky. up to 4TB SSD The 2015 15” models looks to be discontinued
The 2015 15” models looks to be discontinued RIP the best MacBook Pro I'll be holding onto mine for a while longer. I hope the new keyboards are better.
"Why did you remove the enter key?" "Bravery"
And here I was thinking they'd just get rid of the keyboard and replace it with voice typing only in the name of progress.
You know nothing of TRUE innovation. https://youtu.be/9BnLbv6QYcA

Didn't you look at the images? When you play trumpet you need 4tb of high performance SSD space and 32gb of ram
Glad they're getting rid of that crap keyboard, probably still not worth the price though.
Keyboard was old shit, yes. But it was the best laptop keyboard by fucking miles for years and handily beat the shit their previous powerbooks and macbook pros had had. I'm still annoyed as shit that mousepads are cancerous across the board in the laptop industry outside apple. How hard can this shit be?
Apple bought the company that invented the best gesture based trackpads/algorithms and then patented pretty much all of them, the other laptop companies cant do much without infringing the patent
$2400 for the base 15-inch model. I bought an analog synthesizer last year that's the coolest thing I own for $2000, and I when I think about its value compared to my $800 laptop which is probably not that far behind the mac it's like wtf.
Base 13 inch model is $1,300 which is actually pretty damn reasonable for the hardware you get. Compared to high end PC laptop brands it's not much more. 15 inch is too pricey for my blood tho. But then again, I'd just use my desktop if I needed a powerhouse.
Why would you need a 4TB SSD on a Mac? Why would you need a 4TB SSD anyway? I've got a TB and 250 GB and they're fine, could do with a full 2TB but that's it, 4 though, that's a bit much and WAAY too pricey.
Say what you want about macbooks but I've yet to find a trackpad that comes close to them. My workflow on my macbook is nearly as fast as when I have a mouse.
Well look at the iphone x... 370 dollars to make, but costs more than 1k
yet not even an apple innovation when you look at the history
Don't really like the newer models but I wouldn't take any other laptop over my 13" MBP 2014. Built like a tank, handles audio work perfectly and has a 100% reliability track record. Nothing else even comes close to it
'Add to Bag' irks me somehow
It's more just needing 4TB of storage in general, since you can't really fit multiple drives in that form factor without sacrificing other parts. Would rather have a single 4TB SSD than a single 4TB mechanical.
Nobody said it was.
there will never be another laptop keyboard better than what's on t420 era thinkpads
Apparently the new keyboard didn't fix sticky key issues.
I missed my X220 keyboard but tbh the 2015 MBP keyboard ain't bad. What I really miss is the clit mouse. But then again, the better trackpad makes that less painful as well.
These laptops are mostly aimed at super ritzy high-end professionals that are looking for a fast workhorse as well as a piece of jewelry, given they're gonna be playing with it all day. They're probably not for you.
Everyone going "lmao lol xd" at the $6500 price tag should probably note that in the base 6-core model it's "only" $2800, https://puu.sh/AVwkX/ba93854d26.png Not cheap, but a lot less than $6500.
Macs have always been and always will be a fashion statement and a way to brag about how much money you have. No real professional or businessman would be caught dead using one.
I'm still rocking my 2013 Macbook Pro.
you shouldn't say these things without looking at people that do work in the real world
t. a macbook user go to any construction site, corporate office, or anything that requires a rugged and powerful laptop and all you'll find are thinkpads, elitebooks, and latitudes.
Way to both be incredibly condescending and also just straight wrong. Do you even understand why PCs are typically used in corporate? Windows domains. Literally nothing to do with build quality.
