Rust servers skins and all data that requires internet not loading.

For the past 3 weeks, i've been dealing with a certain problem with rust. Now i'm not sure if this may be a bug or some other factor, but let's get to the point. When i open rust, none of the skins emblems servers or any data that seemingly requires internet is showing, except the counter at the bottom for example showing how many bears have been killed so far. I've pinged google.com as an example and i have around 15MBps internet so i dont have any internet problems, other steam games that do require internet work just fine so i believe this is either due to a rust update or maybe something i've done to my computer(the fact that i've reported this as a bug probably means its due to a rust update)... i've posted a video to demonstrate, it won't harm you to watch it as it is relatively short. (https://youtu.be/1oCJHh90RJM)

So, what have i tried doing? heres a list:
- I've reinstalled the game 4 times
- Reinstalled easy anti cheat several times
- Attempted to atleast join a server by clicking View->Servers in steam and joining, however that didnt get me anywhere.
- Removed all firewall rules that i've applied for other programs. That didnt get me anywhere either.

I love this game, and i'd hate for the dev's to leave me hanging here, please help.

I've found a solution, basically instead of running the game from steam i wen't to the directory and ran the rust client as an administrator and it worked... odd that the solution was so simple.
