I may be able to meet senator Tim Kaine of Virginia (Ran for VP on Clinton's ticket in 2016) next week. What should I ask him?
ask him to join facepunch
Ask him why Clinton lost. I'm curious if they're still sticking their heads in the sand,
What's a facepunch
Pretty sure the world already knows why.
I don't really want to ask him that. 2016 was 2 years ago. I want to ask things more topical to today
Stance on issues like net neutrality and if they think that there should be more ISP competition in their state.
I think his stance on NN is pretty well documented. he cosponsored a bill with Elizabeth Warren:
Sens. Warner, Kaine Introduce Resolution To Reinstate Net Neutra..
Damn that reminds me I could have met Doug Jones when he met my aunt who runs the local paper, but no one told me.
What does he have for breakfast
and which toilet in the senate does he use
"Have you ever heard the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?"
Ask him who the key individual partisans in congress are and how rocky the boat is for the democratic party right now.
Question him on why he hasn't pushed for a repeal of the National Firearms Act of 1934, when it's the current largest barrier to any gun reform.
Why is that?
Putting it quiet simply: The National Firearms Act, made way for US v. Miller, which determined that the reason for the 2nd Amendment is so that civilians may own military-type/grade weapons.
It also is currently hampering any efforts of possible reform that can be agreed upon by everyone, as it holds the most sway in terms of how the current system is operated.
Can you ask him what's the deal with airline food? Whenever I ask people I never get a straight answer...
You don't need to ask him this, but I need you to confirm it for me, does Tim Kaine have a permanent 'smug face'?
Ask if relations between the senators of different parties have gotten more hostile in general since he was first elected.
Well, if you can’t think of a good question, you can ask about his harmonica collection
