( Please Respond! ) Gmod only running in background

So i posted this on support and the 12 people that saw it did not say A N Y T H I N G.

so i'm re-posting it.

on another forum page.

So everytime i go to start up Gmod it just says running but no window, or fullscreen game. but in task manager i see "hl2.exe" with the Gmod icon next to it. but no game is showing up in the task bar. Also this happens everytime now when i start Gmod. Re-installs dont work. Going to the FactoryReset file in the Gmod folder wont work. And no i did not pirate it. (i did buy it on sale for 2$ though.) So PLEASE RESPOND just to show that people even care.

gmod and other source games that use half life 2 as a base will have half life 2 as its executable feel free to check for other valve tittles such as csgo and or tf2

Well you tried litteraly everything you could by the looks of things i doubt there is any help but who am i to say

Don't post multiple threads for the same issue.
Understand that people have lives and things to do outside of this forum. You are not prioritized on anyone's list just because you're having an issue.
Understand that people need to experiment and test things to solve your issue because you've given no information other than what's happening, and no one has had this bug before.
Have you let steamservice.exe set up your game?
How long do you let it sit? It could just still be loading.
Are you sure your game isn't just windowed, and stuck in the corner of your screen or something?
