I'm several characters short to say that the reporter for Fox would later stand up to the CNN reporter, but as this article points out there's a chance he only did so when prompted by others in the press corps. But man, talk about grabbing a headline, from opinion writer Erik Wemple from the Washington Post:

Why not declare RT the one true news source while you're at it.
I think CNN is bullshit too but lmao fox is straight up propaganda so it's no wonder he'd support it
Reminder that Trump doesn't say real news/fake news based on it's factual reporting, but based on how friendly the network is to them.
And here we are.
We officially have an endorsed, state media.
The day that Trump is led out of the whitehouse in handcuffs, I'm gonna watch the coverage on CNN
Imagine if he calls PBS fake news lmao. (thank god it's not fully gov owned, it would be right wing propaganda under any GOP pres)
PBS is 100% NOT owned by the government, totally Private, like CSpan or NPR
Should probably watch it on a less shitty channel. While Fox is far worse, CNN has become pretty worthless themselves.
It's a symbolic gesture
Partially funded by the CPB whose directors are picked by the President. Only 5/9 of the directors can be from one party though.
You can call it "funded" if you want: PBS and NPR are private non-profits who offer programs like Sesame street for a price, and the CBP regional member stations almost unanimously pay for their programs. What you call "funding" I call "purchasing"
You seem more knowledgeable on this so I defer to you.
You were actually right, that's why I snipped it; I didn't know that the CBP directly funded PBS as well, I thought it was just via membership dues
yup. They all skew and bias things to fluff up ratings, and thus ad revenue. Some are more obvious and some are more subtle, but they all twist the stories to suit their own bank accounts.
A British PM shouldn't be standing next to someone saying this shit
that "real network" is the only argument for fox hunts I agree with.
kill it
Trump's connections to Fox News (and in particular Sean Hannity) are much more suspicious and unethical than most people realize.

Last night's Fresh Air with Terry Gross - worth listening to the entire thing if you're interested in going down the Trump-Fox rabbit hole.
This is super dangerous, and kinda silly considering Fox News was literally created to be propaganda.
That third one would need a constitutional amendment, since pardoning is a constitutional power. And that 4th one will never happen because people in power aren't keen to remove themselves.
Yesh trump, anything outside your comfort zone is fake news
even in the worst case scenario he's flying off on marine one back to his gawdy tower
