Ah yeah, I actually really enjoyed this at the time. It definitely was unpolished, but it was fun in that cheap "B-movie" sort of way. I remember describing it at the time as, "The longer I go without playing it, the less I care about it, but the more I play it the more I want to keep playing." I remember really enjoying the Elastigirl stages at least, and the hamster-ball stages were just mindless "WRECK EVERYTHING" joy. Dash levels were fun too, but there weren't enough of them. But yeah, he's right that the Violet stage was goddamn painful. Doesn't help with her shouting "I NEED A BREAK" every ten seconds, and constantly having to reenter "tonyloaf" into the cheat screen to even have a chance at passing it.
Wouldn't mind them giving it another try now that Incredibles 2 is a thing.
I picked it up again recently, wasn't as good as i remembered it being.
Battle for bikini bottom and movie game are still unironically rock solid little platformers though.
I miss the days when nearly every big movie would have a video game adaption alongside it. Sure they were all mostly garbage, but if you liked the movie, it was just an added bonus.
