How expensive is it to get into airsoft? Like, will it cost more than other sports similar to it, like paintball?
I really want to start airsoft, but if it's too expensive, I just can't... Any advice?
depends on what you're going to start going for
obviously you're gonna want to invest in eye and facepro first, and i wouldn't skimp on pricing for those becuase they're the most important part.
im not the most up to date on beginner airsoft guns but iirc a decent starter could run you anywhere from $150 to $200
attire/uniform/whatever doesnt have to be expensive, that depends entirely on how you play.

It's one of those hobbies that can become consumingly expensive if you let it. Just the basic stuff is quite cheap while you figure out if it's for you . Surplus fatigues and some goggles; rent guns from your local site.
It's generally cheaper than paintball from what I know.
Getting started can cost a couple hundred. It's much cheaper than paintball afterwards however, at least until you get consumed by barbie dress-up and ordering a bunch of extra shit.
