It's kind of weird the title of the article says he's an ex bodyguard but then the same article says he was a suspected bodygaurd.

Don't. The guy went through the motions, reported daily at a police station and is possibly being persecuted in his native Tunisia.
If just for his family's sake, pull him back to Germany. You can't just deport a man over these allegations. You can look into the allegations and see for yourself if the man presents any danger; in this case germany has recognized that they should not have shipped him back
Letting him «rot» is not a plan I can get behind for now
