• Front USB port disconnects intermittently

Anything I can do about it? Or do I just need to try to resolder it? Gonna be a PITA to disassemble my computer. Should I just buy a hub instead and go for that?
Hard to say without knowing why it happens. If the port is getting shut down because of an intermittent short triggering overcurrent protection, that could be an easy fix.
I was thinking maybe that or a loose solder joint. It's really hard to tell. Is there a way to find out from Windows? For example today, I've had something plugged in for over an hour and it hasn't disconnected, but yesterday it happened approximately every 3 minutes.
Were they the same devices? Front ports notoriously have issues with power, especially over 2.0.
It's the same device currently, my wireless headset's dongle. It is a 2.0 port, yes. The case is a MicroATX Fractal Design case (though I'm not sure which one. I think it's the Node R5 but not sure now)
