You know whats worse? The Hannity show has exploded in popularity and was the top viewed cable news show in May and June. Over two million Americans watch him and many of them take his word as gospel.
Orpheus made this post a few days ago and it's quite illuminating into how some of the people at Fox and Trump see themselves. Hannity is practically Trump's friend and advisor.

My personal theory is that Russia does have info on him, but they don't need it because Putin stoking Trump's ego has been so effective that they don't need it.
Imagine if they don't have any actual kompromat on Trump, but he's such an easily manipulated idiot that it seems like they actually do.
The russians have everything on any person of interest. It's not like the kremlin at all to not have backup plans for its backup plans for its plans.
