• Need help converting a sims 4 character for mainly personal use / use on gmod

Would really appreciate the help. I am pretty sure I have all the rip files for the character, just need help as I've never really done this before. Would also like help with rigging her up for use cause if I did it, it would probably look extremely wonky and broken.
You'll need to clarify it a little bit, do you want it to be a ragdoll or a playermodel? Radgolls are pretty easy to make in comparison. For source you only need 2 files, the actual model and the textures, so hopefully you have them all, does the model have bones? If not then it will be very hard to approximate where the bones should be, but at the very least the model has weight paint, and if it doesn't personally I would give up on the model, but you're not me and I am a very lazy person so through determination you could do them yourself. Also what are the formats for the files? I have a bad feeling about files coming from the sims.
I'd prefer it to be a playermodel, and sadly with the sims I'm pretty sure they are all seperate, so it may be a bit hard. So for now just having them converted to make the model full would help a lot. Right now all the files are .rip files. Textures included.
You're right to say that, it's best to start by converting the model in the first place, unfortunately the file format you told me couldn't be found in the first page of google, I've never ripped a model aside from GTA IV, and that didn't come out good at all, so I can't give a professional opinion, however I can say that .rip files are probably very hard to get into any 3d software, let alone converted into an .smd. If you were to find a way to convert the files, all you have to do really is merge the different parts, which I assume are hair, t-shirt, pants etc. since it's the sims, this also means that merging them will be very easy. If you were using blender and you were me, I'd load all of the models at once, select them all with A or SHIFT+LEFT CLICK in case you have cameras and such, merge them using CTRL+J and lastly go into edit mode pressing TAB , select all vertices with A , press W and select "Remove all doubles" so they merge perfectly, but if experience told me anything is that it's never as easy as I hope it would be, so something is bound to go wrong if you follow step by step.
I'll have to look into it, then. Would you still be willing to help out if I somehow manage to get the models?
That's what the modelling forums are for (CITATION NEEDED), if you do find a way to get those models I am sure there will be a queue of people willing to help, it's also nice to keep the posts in the forums, since some people in the future may have the same problem and will look for a solution in the forums.
Alrighty, this is my first time using this website in general, so yeah.
