They'll probably announce new controllers and give details on upcoming hardware. I doubt we'll see anything about a new Xbox until next E3.

Given that the Elite X missed E3, pretty damn obvious what it is.

It's not going to be anything exciting.

I never understood the appeal of keyboard/mouse on consoles. Every time I've tried it, it's been a terrible experience. The whole point of playing games on console, is to relax on the couch with a controller.

microsoft's plan is supposed to make it native like using it on a computer. they want to make sure everyone can play however they want on any platform

FOR FUCK’S SAKE I just bought an Xbox One S. eh it was for 125 so I can’t complain. guess it’s time to sell off the CIB Fat PS3.

VR on console is tough because a) it’s not at the price point where you can get the great headset and tracking techs for less than the console price and b) working for the lowest common denominator (in this case the 1.0 hardware revisions for XB1 and PS4) While MS did let Sony have the market, they are gaining footholds in other places like the Nintendo alliance and moving the Xbox brand to be a PC/console hybrid brand.

VR set I'd wager

To be honest, having console w hardware that can adequately run all new games while supporting kb and mouse would be verybappealing to gamers who cant affort good gaming pc but still wont replace KM/M luxury for controller (like me if i had a shit pc)

Imagine being Microsoft, you spend months of market research, millions of dollars and focus groups just to come up with a dumb fucking name like Xbox One that no one gets. They could of asked any of us here for $5 and got a better name Meanwhile Sony just slaps a +1 on every console and everyone could care less.

The average joe doesn't get that "Xbox One means it's an all-in-one machine". They do get that the Playstation 4 is a new Playstation because the 4 comes after the 3.
