Two weeks before his inauguration, Donald J. Trump was shown highly classified intelligence indicating that President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia had personally ordered complex cyberattacks to sway the 2016 American election.
The evidence included texts and emails from Russian military officers and information gleaned from a top-secret source close to Mr. Putin, who had described to the C.I.A. how the Kremlin decided to execute its campaign of hacking and disinformation.
Mr. Trump sounded grudgingly convinced, according to several people who attended the intelligence briefing. But ever since, Mr. Trump has tried to cloud the very clear findings that he received on Jan. 6, 2017, which his own intelligence leaders have unanimously endorsed.

There will never be a president at Trump's level again. The dude after him's gonna make or be subject to some big changes to the office.
How all this information is coming out literally since day 1 of his time in office, and he is still president, or even still alive, baffles me.
There isn't a question about this anymore: Trump is guilty of Treason, and should face the fullest possible punishment under the law, along with anybody and everybody who knowingly and willingly abetted his unprecedented crimes against our nation.
The CIA will pull a kennedy on him eventually. I'm waiting for it.
This needs a name, something scandals will be named after instead of -gate.

Adding onto what BDA said, the longer this goes on without decisive criminal action being taken (through impeachment in Congress), the less likely our electoral process will survive. If Rosenstein and Mueller get axed and Trump opens the floodgates to Russian falsification of our elections, there will never again be any opportunity whatsoever for the non-violent removal of the GOP from control. Ever. If Trump "works with" Putin on electoral cybersecurity and manages to wring out enough support to toss out the entire investigation, we will be Russia. We will never have fair and honest democratic elections again in this country. We will transform into an authoritarian "illiberal democracy" where every aspect of our political process will be rigged, irreversibly, in favor of the traitorous GOP.
The GOP has embraced, wholeheartedly, the destruction of democracy. If we can flip the Senate in November and hold off until 2020, or until the Mueller investigation concludes, there's a chance we can avoid going down the path of Russia, Turkey, and the Philippines.
The Senate won't flip blue. Afaik Nevada is the only state that could plausibly flip blue, and there's some dems in red states that they'll try to oust. Worst case it goes to around 56-44 GOP, best case an even tie
or maybe 51-49 Dem.
Just bad luck regarding the Senate class up for reelection this year.

I have broken more Elton John records. He seems to have a lot of records. And I, by the way, I don’t have a musical instrument. I don’t have a guitar or an organ. No organ. Elton has an organ. I don't know if I'd go that far. Ronnie would probably just be glad he's no longer the only president to commit treason while in office.
