In correspondence with his constituents, the MP for Shipley said the prime minister’s Chequers plan for Brexit is “unacceptable” and failure to deliver Brexit could end with Jeremy Corbyn as prime minister. For a no confidence vote to be triggered, 48 letters from Conservative MPs – 15 per cent of the parliamentary party – have to submit letters to the chairman Graham Brady. If a vote is triggered, the prime minister would need to win the votes of more than half of the Tories’ 316 MPs to survive.
Every situation ends with Corbyn as PM now. Half of the Tory voters - be they the hard Brexit half or the soft/Remain half - will not vote, or will abstain, at the next election.
I humbly disagree. We'll end up with a split in the Tory party which, solved behind closed doors, will result in a Mogg PM run.
Glad to see my shithole constituency make the news for something not entirely shit for once, but being reminded of this pissant's existence isn't nice " be they the hard Brexit half or the soft/Remain half - will not vote, or will abstain, at the next election. " More likely some of the former will go over to UKIP
