• Conspicuous Stutter After Recent Update

Memory leak has been prevalent in Rust ever since I started Rust which was 1-2 years ago. I'm just really amazed this still has not been fixed by the devs. I keep rocking up to 8gb or higher ever since the team update which is the highest I've had atm. Probably still rising up and then coupled with stutter/frame lag for a good 3 seconds then when I get super unfortunate; in a pvp situation, I stutter 3 times for 0.5 ms consecutively. THIS has happened before where I only had minimum spec then upgraded to 16gb of ram which ran much smoother till the bloody team update which is extremely detrimental to my Rust experience. All these problems arised after the update which was recently so I may encounter more further on which I will be updating to the discussion. I've tried what I can by updating all my drivers, yet Rust just keeps coughing. Specs: i5-6400 2.4MHz GTX 1050 Ti 16GB DDR4 THE DEVS also stated that they "fixed" "some" memory leak I feel like they made it worst, for me anyways.
I've only noticed these last days but indeed, there's a serious problem with memory. Last month, I could run my Rust server and play on it at the same time on "Beautiful" settings. Today, I can't even finish loading onto a server! It runs out of memory before then, and Rust just shuts down, and that's without having my own server running. I'm hoping this issue will be resolved next month, otherwise I'm stuck for good.
You can try to modify RAM usage & CPU cores into your Steam Game Launch Options. 1. Go to Steam library 2. Right-click the game 3. Click on properties 4. Under the tab General, go to 「Set Launch Options」 Available commands: -maxMem= <Mb of memory will use RUSt> Sample -> -maxMem=1024 (RUST will only use 1Gb of memory) 1024 1Gb, 1536 1.5Gb, 2048 2Gb, 4096 4Gb, 8192 8Gb, 16384 16Gb, 20480 20Gb, 24576 24Gb, 32768 32Gb -malloc=system (This command will define from where is this memory, alwayis from your "system") Credits from: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=599692215 I don't know if this feature still working on 2018, but people dont tell anything negative about it! I hope it works! Regards!
Even if I do improve frames, I still believe that I won't average out my FPS. Achieving 10/20 more, but coupling the continuous stutter from 'x' to 10-15 or to 3
