That was pretty wizard.
This was...unexpected. I didn't think you could go back to shows like this. Clone Wars > Rebels > Clone Wars II. Still I'm fucking happy this is coming back, as Season 5 and 6 were great, but their endings left me wanting more.
Filoni's bringing it back!!

Current mood.
It's 13 episodes, and looks like it will include 'The Siege of Mandalore' based on the Promo image of the painted helmet.
So I don't expect it to go past those 13 episodes, as the Siege was the last major battle of the war, happening concurrently with the Battle of Coruscant and Order 66 happens during it.
FUCK YEAH BOYS
Oh neat, the "Bad Batch" is coming into it too.

What the fuck I care about Star Wars again now
The damage control is hilarious, but hey I'm excited for more TCW.
It takes at least a year to make an episode, so this process would have started before TLJ came out.
delta squaaaaaaaaaaad.
TCW may very well be one of the better family shows out there
I'm over the moon for this series coming back.
You know this shit doesn't just magically manifest right?
Like this has probably been worked on for a good while.
You say this but the current EU has far more consistently good stories that the old one ever did. Vader's comics are especially top end quality.
Also TLJ is NOWHERE NEAR as damaging as the prequels were, nor will it ever be. People overreact too much about TLJ.
This has been already been charted in animatic form since before the series ended production.
Yes, but these models look new. They're not right from the original series.
Filkoni stated publicly what they had and what they didn't, and nowhere did I imply every scene was in animatic form. You realize animatics don't have to contain anything in finalized screen ready form right? right. They can literally be freehand drawings moved around like stick figures.
So if you're done splitting semantic hairs we can get back to Filoni knew what he wanted to do before the series ended, and spoke about it, so Disney literally knew what it would cost should they ever decide to do it, and here we are.
Solo didn't fail in a vacuum.
No it just fell really close to a very popular film.
Yeah I know, I'm just saying that hyst because they had the animations, doesn't mean production will be much shorter.
Solo failed because of its behind the scenes issues, lacklustre marketing as a byproduct of said issues, getting sandwiched between a bunch of major blockbusters, and general lack of interest in the premise from first announcement.
TLJ getting 100% audience approval wouldn't have made all those problems magically disappear.
At the panel Filoni did say at the panel they just started getting finished scenes.
TLJ getting 100% approval would have made solo make a shit ton more money. Again, Solo did not fail in a vaccuum.
Halo 5 did not have enh sales in a vacuum.
BSG did not end a season early in vacuum.
etc etc
Think you over estimate how many people care about reviews.
It's not a new season, 2/3rds of this is content that has already been made. All they did was animate the Bad Batch & Crystal Heist arcs. We don't even have images of the Seige of Mandalore arc, and we don't know if the entire show will be released at once, or drip-fed like most modern primetime shows on their service. We don't even know when the season is coming out.
So yeah, the small amount of footage we saw in the trailer could easily have been made after TLJ.
Production would have started before TLJ came out.
Fuck yeah. Gonna be honest, I feel the Prequel setting is more interesting than the original and sequel settings. The Prequels just felt more alive to me, like there was an entire universe out there waiting to be explored. So excited to see this show return. Hoping we get our Boba Fett vs Cad Bane fight.
Glad they brought this back, hopefully it gets the finale it deserves for a fantastic show. Definitely will rewatch it again.
You uh, you okay there? I don't recall mentioning anything about any of that.
This better have the scene where Boba and Bane dual, explaining how Boba got the dent in his helmet.
Because that scene is mental.
