An Infinity War game mode

Hi there.

There is a very cool Infinity Gauntlet SWEP for Gmod. It comes together with all the Infinity Stones that you can collect one by one and put them into the gauntlet.

So I thought that it would be very cool to have a game mode where one player (Thanos) has an empty Infinity Gauntlet, and needs to collect all the Infinity Stones in order to "balance the life on the server". And the rest of the players are the Avengers, and their task is to stop Thanos by any means.

So that's the game: if Thanos gets all the Infinity Stones and does the snap, he wins. If the Avengers kill him, or the time just runs out before Thanos manages to do the snap, the Avengers win.

I tried to create this game mode but I'm not a coder, I tried to become one, for the sake of this idea, but it'll probably take months till I grasp enough knowledge to create this game mode to the fullest extent of my vision.

So now, I just want to offer this idea to anyone who's interested, and is able to turn it into reality.

So if anyone here is a professional lua coder and thinks an Infinity War game mode is a good idea, reply to me, and I'll provide more information about this subject.

Anyone can be an idea guy. Get to work and learn Lua, because no one will ever make a gamemode for you.

Funnily enough I've been working on this exact concept for about 2 weeks using that addon. It is by no far an easy thing to do because you have to make both sides enjoyable; the Avengers team shouldn't have to keep dying very easily to Thanos constantly but Thanos shouldn't be able to be killed very easily either. Balancing the Infinity Gauntlet itself was very difficult and in the end 80% of the abilities had to be purged because they, by them selves, very powerful and ruined the fun of the opposition by becoming unstoppable even with only 1 stone.

why not just add an aoe stun? radius and time stunned would be upgraded with every stone. that way you could add melee avengers until you figure out a way to keep the ranged ones at bay.

I wouldn't use the models from the workshop but instead make textures (Or PAC outfits) onto the HL2 models to give it a silly look.
