What the fuck man, I had respect for him, but to do this to sneak in your agenda to children, what the fuck.
Yep. Btw hear are my thoughts:
Plus he really isn't lying about media being violent for kids sometimes. Even Family Guy made fun of that in their opening;
It seems today
That all you see
Is violence in movies
And sex on T.V
Who knows? Maybe Butch Hartman might make some QUALITY Christian shows in this streaming service since he has a good history with his own shows vs the creators who thought Gods' 'Not' Dead was a good idea.
was posted to sensationalist headlines iirc, people kept egging whoever posted it for an actual news link regarding the video but only posted a reddit link
It's too bad it's a christian scam. The world could use more high quality and wholesome family media like Paddington and Paddington 2
I'm going (to give praise to the holy) ghost!
I'm sure some washed-up hack that used nostalgia to scam money out of people to fund his religious propaganda network is totally not going use it to make God's Not Dead tier garbage. Also, the Family Guy intro seems to have gone stratospheric levels over your head, and I'm sure a horny, repressed religious zealot who wants to kill a gypsy woman because he can't fuck her is exactly the sort of wholesome Christian values he had in mind.
I will eat my pathetic half-formed beard if anything this network produces comes anywhere near the quality of Veggietales. By which I mean, legitimately entertaining, and not just 22 minute sermons in cartoon form.
I think the most disturbing thing is how he thought Oaxis was actually a good name.
What fucking delusional universe do you have to live in to think suicide hasn't been a regular thing forever?
something for the butch hate train

It seems like only a few years ago that Butch Hartman seemed moderately sane
How the fuck does this shit happen to people?
Damn, I really hope all this Oaxis and stuff blows up hard against him. Even if I got tired of his works early on during my teens, I always respected him for his passion and works in the animation industry but all the recent stuff about him are really showing a side of Hartman I'd never thought to see.
Jesus actual fucking what?
Jesus Christ. What the fuck is wrong with Butch?
I'm starting to think he didn't leave Nickelodeon on good terms. And that they knew some of this shit about him and wanted him gone.
Yes, That was my thread from yesterday. But in terrible way.
And for video that I (and this person moved it over here) was actually backup of original video with Hartman was from YouTube channel of Right-wing Evangelical Author and Trump supporter Lance Wallnau before he took it down after someone exposed this.
Another creep. Nickelodeon sure knew how to fuckin pick them.
Well bonkers I completely missed out on veggie tables. I only had the Christmas special on vhs.
I may have exaggerated about the Family Guy intro, but boy howdy are you missing the whole point with Disney's Hunchback. The point of the movie was to point out Frollo's hypocritical views of the church for his own twisted desires of viewing Esmeralda as a vehicle for his uncertainty while complimenting the good christian ideologies through the eyes of Quasimodo and the Archdeacon and the grey area with Esmeralda. Frollo wasn't just a horny prick; he was heartless individual who saw the church as a means to give him causation to do horrible things. He one of Disney's best villains for being a bit realistic.
Essentially, to borrow from a meme of a show I dont care to watch, you need a very high IQ to get the hidden meanings in this movie.

We should have known...
Plus I found this "fan tribute"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWCKDX_kor8
Butch Hartman went from being a memorable cartoonist, to an interesting youtuber, to an obnoxious click-baity youtuber, to someone who wants to "use" his fans to fund his shitty kickstarter.
I'm so sad right now, i loved Fairy Godparents back then, and i still can't hide a smile when i see them, regardless of the show quality, but the man itself... oh god.
'Weak rhymes with critique'
'If you guys can't do it yourselves you shouldn't criticise anybody else'
'Yeah you're a coward'
'Do you know who you're dealing with?'
Screw Hartman
Some people are really good at hiding it, and after a while, they can have less and less reason to do so. Comes with age I think.
So weird to see a professional artist say this about critique, honestly. Since critiques can be absolutely valuable to improve, even if it's from someone who isn't "as good" as you.
It makes me think of shitty artists saying "it's just my style" whenever they get critique.
Seriously, fuck this guy.
People took recent interest in him because of his experience showrunning shows they loved when they were young, and seeing him talk about his previous experiences from his position while showing that he still has ability to create artwork in he same style is genuinely interesting. It's a shame that more and and more skeletons are coming out of this opening cupboard.
Cosmo is the Virgin Mary because a Magical force made him pregnant without having sex.
Though I disagree with intentional "indoctrination", aren't most of todays media trying to sneak an agenda to kids?
"Oaxis is supposed to convert kids to christianity"
You can't disagree with something the man himself admitted to. You can't disagree with a fact.
