Maybe, but it doesn't seem quite likely to me. Generally people doing Munchausen's by proxy try to get money and sympathy, and do things like doctor shopping, but at least the article doesn't indicate that she's making financial gains or is playing the medical system as hard as possible. She's prolly just a dum dum
