I have a mac running OS X El Capitan and yes I understand I should absolutely not be using a mac but its all I have at the moment and I would love to play the game. Please let me know if my computer will run it.

I used to have one of those 10 years ago but it was the pro series,
10 years old as well. Looks like you found parents old Mac in the attic
4 Gigs is barely able to run anything these days and I believe min spec for this game is 8 (which means you need at least 12)
