http://www.ign.com/videos/2018/07/25/netflixs-paradise-pd-exclusive-trailer-2018 It's worth noting that Nextlix are reporting spending more money this year than every hollywood studio in existence. So expect shit like this to continue to be the norm.
Netflix exclusives have become the equivalent of made for TV movies and daytime television shows. Not that that's a bad thing, it's just that the quality of these production have basically been doomed to become mediocre or have niche followings.
Ha, joke's on you! I like Brickleberry
There are plenty of good originals. Thing is you have to delve deep thru shit to find them
I never said it was a bad thing, again, there is nothing wrong with a B-quality film or show as long as it's done right.
Netflix is really hit and miss, as they do have some really high production value shows too that don't exude a B-movie quality. I do think there's far too much shit to wade through there now though. It'd be better if they were a happy medium between many of the networks and somewhere like HBO.
Yeah, that would be nice. I would consider a subscription, but not a lot of shows in the current pool are really catching my eye. If I want to watch anime, I just watch it on crunchyroll with my ad-blocker. If I wanna watch anything from adult swim, the older episodes are more than likely on Hulu, which I already have a sub with from getting the student subscription to Spotify. Really there are no movies that interest me that I don't already have on DVD, so there is nothing to invest me into the content that Netflix has. I mean if they are willing to cook up some great concepts with good execution, I might consider it, but for now I'm just gonna stick to other forms of media until they step things up a bit. I actually watch a bit of stranger things, it's okay, but nothing groundbreaking. I would love more lovecraftian sci-fi fantasy in shows, but it's such a niche genre that I doubt they would touch it ever again.
To be honest, more mediocre content isn't necessarily a bad thing. At least Netflix is willing to spend money on stranger ideas and original concepts unlike 90% of most hollywood production houses
Just kind of disappointing that Netflix is willing to spend money on crappy stuff like this instead of maintaining their licenses for good shows like Futurama and Psych.
It's just Brickleberry in a police setting, every concept from the show is there, even the edgy talking animal. Why do Netflix still license shit like this?
My mate likes brickleberry. I don't really care that a private company is funding these people. I see this rather than the government needing to fund artists because they arent making enough money from their shitty art. If it turns out the show is shit then you can just not watch it. Its what I do to Netflix shows that I dont like. And based on the cancelled shows that I do like on Netflix; I'm not the only one.
It still hurts that I can't watch Psych or Burn Notice anymore.
