Hello, it all hapenned 3 days ago. I was playing the game smoothly (50-60 fps) but then i needed to turn off my pc, however, 20 min ago, I turned it on again with an internet cable ( before and for the last years i used wifi connection) and started rust and my fps were constantly dropping to 1, 2 , 3, sometimes it would even freeze and crash, and right now I cant even have a decent pvp, always getting killed because the fps drop to 5. I already tried to put all the graphics on minimum, however, the one setting that helped it the most where the "gibs". If someone could help me out I would really appreciate it, regards, Viuvan.
do you have a computer or laptop? in other games fps has not changed? connection through wi-fi does not improve FPS? if you are playing with a laptop, check whether the game uses a discrete graphics card
I use a Lenovo laptop: Graphics card: GTX 1050 4GB VRAM Processor: i5 7th generation 8GB RAM Yes, i ve played other games and the fps didnt drop, and when the problem happened i ve cleaned my pc dust.
maybe rust don't use 1050? and runs on an integrated graphics card? set the start of rust with 1050 gpu in nvidia control panel
No, I already cheked it, it's using the 1050
So, is there any fix or should i just wait for a patch?
