Aren't we the biggest grower of medicinal cannabis anyway?
It always starts with medical cannabis. Hope for full legalisation in 5-10 years. Assuming the tories get thrown out.
Specialist doctors in the UK will be able to legally prescribe cannabis-derived medicinal products by autumn I thought 'cannabis derived products' i.e. Sativex were already legal and prescribed in special cases? What exactly is being legalised here?
should probably state in the title that this is referring to cannabis derivatives, not actual bud.
How the UK can be so far behind on this issue is staggering. The US and Canada are already being really sensible, with the whole of Canada and many US States legalising for recreational use, but we can't even get medicinal use right... it's sad.
Medical cannabis is a gateway legalisation.
Yeah but we love to outlaw the things we do the most. For instance, the porn ban.
It's by no means out of general ignorance. There will be an overruling economic reason.
I'd be okay with the porn ban if Theresa May had to personally sign off on every debauched search terms we put into Google. "Bukake, what's that? Goodness me. THINK OF WHEAT. STRONG AND STABLE."
with increased tax revenue comes an expectation of reinvestment in public services and the like. that's not the tory way.
