https://www.newsweek.com/stormy-daniels-ohio-arrest-was-planned-whistleblower-claims-1043604 Emails obtained from the Columbus Police department by the Fayette Advocate appear to show that the police department was aware of Daniels' scheduled strip club appearance in the town and had been planning a "sting" operation for the night of her show.  The Advocate said the bulk of the emails it received appear to have come from the email account of Detective Shana Keckley, one of the officers who arrested Daniels on the night of her show.  Columbus Mayor's Office spokesperson Robin Davis said the City of Columbus was not in possession of the emails referenced in the Advocate's article, but said the city's police chief has launched an internal investigation in the wake of the arrests.  Columbus Police spokesperson Denise Alex-Bouzounis confirmed that an internal investigation was underway concerning Daniels' arrest, adding that because of the ongoing investigation, the department could not comment further. Boy, I wonder how that investigation will conclude.
All that planning just for the case to be thrown out in a day
Fucking Donald Trump, Police Union, etc. have Cacistis out throwing dissenters in jail now
It's even worse than the Gestapo in regards because he's not even giving them orders. They're just doing it on their own. A Cult is running America.
I originally figured it was just a rogue officer doing this. A department wide conspiracy however is far scarier.
Ever watch The Wire? You should know cops take care of other cops very well.
Putin is slowly turning this country into a Russian satellite state, where dissenters disappear or are harassed by the police. The Ukrainians had more sense to dissolve their puppet government and tell Putin to go fuck himself but America is getting bent over the barrel here.
I fucking knew it; Donny’s getting loyalists to put the clamps on vocal dissenters. We need to get this shit stain out of office now and fix our shit before we go full fascist.
There's no evidence Trump asked them to do this -- which should concern you even more than if he had because he's certainly not going to stop people from doing it.
Even past just fictional shows and stuff, there's bunch of ex-cops and the like who've gone out and talked about how they cover each other's back and everybody who breaks the blue wall of silence is shunned and even harassed.
Ever watch Breaking Bad? You should know high school chemistry teachers cook meth very well.
It's basic human nature for groups of people to protect the herd. Just look at political parties or corporations.
Also Breaking Bad was not extremely well-researched, not did it employ experts and veterans of the fields in question. They made occasional inquiries here and there - but it was not based on a real world, just something that was like the real world. Both The Wire and Breaking Bad are smartly written, I don't think many would deny that -- but only one of them specifically interviewed, documented, spot-checked, and routinely brought to folks like those they were depicting. One was interested in telling a good story; the other was interested in telling a story in as grounded a reality as they could put forward.
