They couldn't claim antisemitism, the cartoonist is Jewish. They just couldn't abide anyone criticizing their fuhrer.
IMO this shows how arbitary those rules are, they ain't conducive to discourse or discussion; and serve only to shut down criticism. People shouldn't go over the top and call Israel nazi but making it illegal to do so doesn't sit right. I seems like censorship rather than protection against antisemitism, especially when the person being accused is himself jewish.
