Thread deleted (again) for having banned characters in the title

Can we please fix the bug that wipes out everything you've typed if you click "post new thread" but have a banned character in the title? I just spent 15 minutes writing up a thread and then pop, it's all gone because the thread title I coped from a youtube video used ’ instead of '.
