I've been playing rust sense it's birth and I've been able to run it most of the time, but holy fucking shit can, its like spinning a wheel if this game is gonna work or not, half the time when I goto touch any setting my game just breaks and I have to full shut off my computer because I can't access anything because Rust's fatass is in the way and frozen. I have a 970 and 16gb of Ram. Sometimes I run it with 50 fps and sometimes with 10, use to be able to run it just fine but it's just a mess now. But this is basically a rant to myself because nothing can fix this because I have spent countless hours trying to fix this game myself and it don't do shit.
