EAC Permanently Banned my friend because he was using injected hacks in GMOD for sandbox with his friends, and cheats are entirely allowed for gmod considering the hundreds of cheat addons available inside the workshop. The only difference with this one is that it was an injection cheat, Which he had also had rust open during this. (He Multitasks Often Especially When He Was A Gmod Server Staff Member) This of course triggered EAC to ban him, But they rejected his appeal despite him never actually cheating in rust.

maybe he should've thought about that before doing so, really
considering an anti cheat isn't sentient and cant determine intent, he should've expected it.
and if he were to later use said cheats to cheat on an actual public server, gmod or not, they end up holding the liability for it
id feel better either as a dev or a player having someone with cheats banned outright so the problem's solved before it even happens.
An anti cheat shouldnt monitor the entire computer just the game it is attached to
