Dude, it's Florida. Half the population carries a gator around with them, and the other half leaves theirs at home. You can't just write a news article every time a Floridan makes a beer run.

from what I've seen in my local Publix you can pass off anything as a service animal.

Gators are pretty chill everyone seems to think there like crocs but nah there big lazy reptiles that swim with there mouth open waiting for a fish to swim in, only when there really hungry do they hunt anything else. However if you go down to south Florida there are american crocodiles those are the meaner Crocodilia
of Florida still not as nasty as other crocs though.
