I'm not going to post a snippet, because you really should just read the whole article. It's a wild ride and very well written.
It's amazing how little time some of the conspirators were sent to jail for.
Wow, that was a pretty interesting article.
Its refreshing to have a nicely written article.
What a nicely written article.
This was a McSting.
amazing haha
The two men behind the camera were not from McDonald’s. They were undercover agents from the FBI.
This was a McSting.
wow great writing
That was a wild ride all the way. Surprising it worked out for Jacob for so long. Just randomly picking acquiring contacts off the street would make investigative work ridiculously difficult but it feels like it has the chance to blow up in your face so quickly if the random people you join into your deception don't approve.
It wasn't really all that random because at most it was friends of friends
When these types of schemes fall apart it's usually because some long time friend or in-law couldn't keep their mouth shut or got too greedy
It's interesting to think about all the people who were never caught because they took care into building their network
"Jerome Jacobson and his network of mobsters, psychics, strip club owners, and drug traffickers won almost every prize for 12 years, until the FBI launched Operation ‘Final Answer.’"
Er, that name... Kinda sounds close to uh...
*pulls shirtcollar*

Where is this man's pulitzer
don't read it if you don't McFucking like it.
Read the entire thing. Half-way through I wondered how this did not become a famous folk-tale, but then I read the trial took place one day before the planes struck the Twin Towers.
Great article.
Really good read but some of those puns were vomit-inducing
