What is the Espionage Wars thread?
In Espionage Wars you roleplay as faction that you control. Factions can range from large to small. Factions can be a numerous amount of things, which include (but are not limited to): PMCs, PSCs, Militias, Businesses, Mercenaries, Nations and Cults. The goal of Espionage Wars is to make poses revolving around everyone's factions, may it be dealing, allying or even fighting an all out war!

After traveling across the world gathering the possible support of both Nations and private companies, the President of the U.P.A, Alejandro Usariaga, finally arrived to the Provincial Casa Rosada. He quickly reunited with his team and the Vice President Melissa Medeiros.
Alejandro: Good day gentlemen... [Looks at Melissa] ...Melissa.

Alejandro: Flattering... traveling all over the world to speak with world Presidents and rulers in less than a week is not good nor healthy... but there's too much work to do, too many things happening, too many things to do... supporting the Grand Duchy of Samogitia on Lithuania, the meetings with the Tacticus and Lukrom CEO's and we also have to deal with all those teenagers screaming at the front of the congress for the abortion law.

The war for Lithuania continues on the favor of the Grand Duchy of Samogitia, however, taking over the nation is not easy for the allied forces, as Sumatran mercs operate on the outskirts, Samogitian and Provincial forces fight the brave defenders on the urban centers, the fondness for traps and guerrilla tactics of the Lithuanian soldiers makes them a deadly enemy.

Meanwhile, on cities and villages taken over by GDS troops, Provincial Peacekeepers are deployed to assist the stationed GDS Troops and to keep the Lithuanian population under control. Due to the war, several services such as water and easy access to medicine were cut down early on,but several humanitarian organizations of the UPA have been giving medicine and fresh water to the Lithuanian citizens, with the hopes of creating a positive image of the United Provinces and the Grand Duchy among the civilians.

Viljandi, Estonia

At night hours, ESR Forces continued crushing Viljandi apart by bombarding it with tanks, minometes and also sending more troops to proceed further. The clashes in front of Vilajndi's museum are over and the musem is under ESR's control and so are the near outskirts.
The museum is ours and will be used as our HQ for future decisions regarding Estonia's fate. But we have suffered quite heavy losses so we wont be risking too much as we dont know of the Old Gods will play in our favour. Next sacrifices will be needed.
But we can say with pride that we crushed the first line of Estonian army quite easily and far better than how tough we thought they might be. But we are more than sure that both sides will take a deep breath and will keep fighting stronger than before. We are enjoying fair fights - honor and pride are pillars of ESR.
We will inform you furthermore when anything else happens.

Members of the CTOC (Counter Terrorism Operations Command) raided a warehouse in Brussels today, after one of the two attackers of last week begun informing agents. The last suspected members of the AWA's terrorist cell now seem to be dealt with, with the entire cell presumed wiped out.

Outside St. Petersburg, Tiger Nation

Three Tiger T-90s move alongside the countryside outside of St. Petersburg, to meet the mysterious faction who set up in their territory. Hoping that by being stealthy about getting units in place, they may be able to gain a line of communication with these men and figure out what's up, while having an attack plan should the need arise.
Due to the low amount of T-90s Tiger possesses this is a risky move on their part, but they can't let a potential enemy have any chances, and will take any risk to defend their nation. So far, no line of communication has been made from either side. St. Petersburg goes into alert, as outposts along the borders begin to send back some of their men and equipment. The city is the heart of Tiger, and must be protected.

The People's Freedom Army of Madagascar

The Government of Madagascar is in shambles. In-fighting between politicians and members of both the leading and opposition parties has led to the neglect of the country itself. The military is controlled only by those in power that can persuade them, and leadership often jumps from corrupt politician to corrupt politician. Riots break out in the streets as the disgruntled populace wants answers for the decay of their nation. The police and army officials open fire on civilians and arrest hundreds who are suspected of opposing the state. From this disarray rises the People's Freedom Army of Madagascar, a radical militia whose main mission is to overthrow the current government, disband the other parties, and install their own 'democracy'. The Militia consists of anyone they're able to convince, forming a just-barely-coherent irregular army. From common city folk to rural farmers and villagers to angry youths, thugs, and criminals - all make up the fighting force of the PFAM.

A a series of mistakes and failures of both Russian and Ukraine goverment force our people to liberate ourselves. Crimean Local politcal party gained support from the local population and it's leader, Taras Glushkov, was proclaimed as a king. There were almost no gunshots. The battle towards the Lithuanian capital continues, the Provincial and Samogitian forces pushes through another heavily fortified Lithuanian settlement, while the Lithuanian army continues their stalwart defense of their nation, they haven't come with any counter attacks as of yet. Early in the day, a team of Provincial troops with the help of a Samogitian squad storm a Lithuanian house, where soldiers have been taking shelter and using it as a small base of operations to plan further ambushes on the coalition forces.
After a short exchange of fire between the troops, the Lithuanians surrendered after realizing they were surrounded, the home owner who was giving shelter to the troops was apprehended but will remain unharmed, some minor incidents broke out due to Lithuanian soldiers failing to comply to Samogitian orders out of spite, nothing a bit of Provincial charm can't handle. Otherwise the operation was considered a success, with the POW's being sent to the nearby allied outpost.

Despite being enemies at some point during the Turkish war and having a heavy language barrier, there's an unspoken camaraderie between Samogitian and Provincial troops, with Provincial soldiers respecting the bravery of the Grand Duchy's army, this can hopefully leave a positive image on the Grand Duchy and its citizens.

Alejandro: Catherine, I've read the e-mail you've sent me before you left to Sumatra, and I've talked with the team but ultimately I wanted to ask you personally and face to face, what is it that you exactly want to do with the Whitewolf K1 robots?

The Prime Minister and CEO of the Corporate Nation of Tiger, Ilya Tretyakov, made an emergency call to the United Provinces of Argent and was able to talk with President Alejandro Usariaga after the line was secured.
Alejandro: Mr. Tretyakov, it is a pleasure to hear from you again, but I was told by my staff this was an emergency, is something wrong?
Ilya: I'm afraid so Mr. Usariaga, we are having quite a trouble at the moment, an unknown group has amassed on the outskirts of the Nation, we are afraid that we might be in danger but we haven't established communications with them nor we know their motives, we could be dealing with terrorists for all we know, while I have the President of the Army investigating, we need to prepare for any type of hostilities.
Alejandro: ...I see, this is quite serious, and I can see why you've called me, worry not Mr. Tretyakov, the United Provinces will support any defensive military actions you and your nation might take. While we are quite busy with the war in Lithuania, we can send troops to support yours during the defense, we won't tolerate any attacks on democracy.
Ilya: I am thankful for this Mr. President, your support means a lot to me and the nation, I can promise you that Tiger does not forget it's allies, we can secure deals after this whole ordeal is over.
Alejandro: No problem Mr. Tretyakov, my team will contact yours and organize everything that needs to be organized, we don't know how long it might take to send troops but I'll make sure they arrive to Saint Petersburg as soon as possible.
Ilya: Understood, Vincent and his team will be in contact once he's back from the front, thank you once again.
[After the call ends Alejandro takes a sip of his drink and looks at his team.]
Melissa: So we'll helping the Oligarchs defend their homeland? Will they change their name if so? because they really should.

Earlier in the Provincial morning, the breaking news of a Kergikstani airliner being shot down causes commotion on the Provincial population. President Alejandro Usariaga sent a letter to General Beibitzhan Alibekev expressing his condolences, later in the day the Chancellor Marcelo Usariaga issued an statement to the press.

Marcelo: Earlier in the morning, a Kergikstani airliner was shot down on the contested areas of Lithuania, the Provincial Government and the Provincial people want to issue our condolences to the Democratic republic of Kergikstan. We want to assure them that the United Provinces of Argent is not responsible for the tragedy.
Marcelo moves to the side to let a military officer to speak.
General: While we are fighting over the region with our Samogitian brothers in arms, we have not deployed anti-air weaponry or any sort of long range weaponry to take down a plane of such dimensions, leaving such tasks to the G.D.S... [Clears Throat] ...We are not saying that they are responsible for the attack, the United Provinces will launch an investigation on the issue.
Marcelo: We want to let the Kergikstani people that we care about this issue, we want to establish diplomatic communications with the government and help them in the investigation, we might have been enemies once, but that does not mean we have to enemies forever.

Lithuania, Contested area.
Lithuanian Reports have claimed they saw 4 Figures running away from the already burning wreckage of airlines 45, but since they do not have thermal imaging to say if there's other survivors in the wreckage, however reports later claim by Lithuanian Citizens and refugees claiming they see people in groups with visible injuries and speaking in Norwegian, Kazakh and English walking or running away from the woods.

A year ago, the Trinity Corporation bought land in the province of New Cordoba as an exchange of helping the United Provinces on the Turkish War, the land was cleared and the frames were made, however, due to the massive failure of the war itself, the project was halted and many of the workers hired thought that it was cancelled.
However, new workers as well the old workers were brought back to the construction site, as the Provincial workers finish with the structure, Trinity workers move in to finish installing the delicate equipment and refurnishing the empty rooms.

It's unknown when the construction will be finished, but the progress has been going at a quick pace due to all the work done before the war.

After a fruitful deal with Herreran Republic, the newly equipped Provincial Gendarmerie now patrols the Provincial Streets with the exception of Nueva Capital Federal, where they'll patrol with the Provincial Metropolitan Police.
Due to the ongoing debates on the Senate for legal abortions and other highly important sociopolitical laws, many ongoing protests have been occurring throughout the Provincial capital, most of these protests, however, are peaceful with little to no incidents.

This was not the case today sadly, during an important senate session, the far-left wing party known as Joventud Unida por la Defensa Civil y Socialista (JUDCS) started some incidents in front of the senate, however, the Gendarmerie quickly acted and arrested several of its members, their leader, Roxanne Martinez, complained on a popular social media site about the actions of the Gendarmerie but specially the government of President Alejandro Usariaga.

Now officially, the RGC is ruled by President Marcos Schröder, A firm believer in freedom, democracy, and all things good and just. He governs the country with firmness, fairness, and compassion towards his fellow citizens... At least, that's what he wants his people to believe. Underneath the mask, Marcos is nothing more but a puppet who takes orders directly from the cartel. He himself was a high-ranking capo of the cartel until his election campaign, where the cartel re-purposed him as their lawmaker. A yakuza-type lady known only among the cartel as 'Evita' who's origins and presence is surrounded in mystery to the point anyone underneath a select few of the capos themselves aren't even aware of her own existence, to say nothing of anyone aware of the cartel itself. Nobody knows where she comes from, who she is, or if Evita is even her real name. Cold, merciless, unfeeling, and ruling the RGC with an iron-fist, she uses Marcos to carry out her will over the RGC and to keep the cartel's manipulation and presence a total secret.

Fight for the city ended in samogitian victory when numerically superior samogitian army surrounded the city resulting in the remaining defenders to surrender. in total the total casualties of the battle are 3000.

Samogitians utilised mortars which provided quick artillery support for the friendly troops during the battle, which were very effective in weakening the defenders set up defences.

Final samogitian assault in the city centre was proven to be costly, as the Lithuanian troops desperately fought until they ran out of ammo and morale. one of the main problems of Lithuanian troops was that they lacked supplies and support as the city was encircled quickly and Lithuania simply lacked air force to drop supplies for the troops. Meanwhile samogitians simply had Air and logistical superiority which proven to be Essential in the Samogitian Victory. with the major city GDS and UPA allies can start campaign to take the north Lithuania and Fight for Vilnius.

Shortly after the crash of the plane, locals report that they saw unmarked Ground to air system with one missing rocket leaving the area. Officialy GDS denies the responsibility over a shot down plane, as there were no given orders to shot down the airlines or any aircraft flying in that altitude. GDS expressed deep condolences to families of the victims and announced a week of mourning, with statement

The GDS military experts came up with the statement who ever shot down the plane while operating system was probably a novice as firing the system is easy but actually identifying target using the system requires training. and their Theory is that it was Lithuanian forces who shot down the plane with the captured GDS buk system, as some systems were captured 2 weeks prior the crash. which would explain this fatal mistake that resulted in over loss of 200 lives.
After the battle of Panevezys. GDS has issued an Peace offer to Lithuanian government which would avoid potential casualties in Vilnius and destruction of the city.,but the Lithuanian government must accept the following terms
