For the second time in as many years, the Santa Rosan has used his love of fiery food to help people displaced by California wildfires. The Salvation Army has been deployed to Shasta County since Tuesday, serving hot meals from mobile canteens to people fleeing the deadly Carr Fire, according to the organization's Northern California branch. Fieri joined the volunteers in their efforts Sunday, along with the food-based nonprofit Operation BBQ Relief. Working out of a makeshift kitchen at Shasta College in Redding, they reportedly fed 1,400 evacuees and first responders. Despite the logistics of cooking for so many, Fieri told CNN he "tried to keep the menu interesting."

I remember he did this the last time too. Dude has a huge, probably cholesterol encrusted, heart.
Guy Fieri is truly America's cool uncle
Diners, Drive-ins, and Decorum.
I wish he was my dad he's such a humble fucking fellow.
The only reason I even know of this happening is because a guy on twitter tactfully pointed out that, by feeding victims of wild fire completely outside of the attention of mass media, Guy Fieri manages to be more altruistic and philanthropic than try-hards like Elon Musk ever could.
Kind of like how Steve Buscemi linked up with his firefighter buddies and joined a rescue Op with them on 9/11/2001.
