• Headsets left and right audio switch after being headshot. Logitech G430s

I seem to have this issue where if I am headshot and die from it my audio in my headset reverses. I can hear things behind me when they are infront and to my left when they are to my right. As you can tell that can get really confusing as I use audio keys a hell of a lot XD. I am running Windows 10 and a Logitech G430 headset. Work Around: I found, and hope it helps anyone else having the same issues, that if you go into your playback devices and right click your device then disable and re-enable it it fixes the issue but you have to do it every time it happens.
Just keep turning your headset around each time you're killed.
headsets are incredibly shitty, and 7.1 headsets are even worse not only that but logitech is one of the worst brands for headphones I think you'd be better off just getting regular headphones. 7.1 literally does nothing any other pair of 'stereo' headphones can't do
I dunno man 7.1 is pretty cool the difference in 3d audio is insane. I used to have just a pair of stereo ones but they would play sound and you would have to rotate in game to pin point it now I can just turn straight to where I hear the noise. I dunno maybe you dont use your ears as much as I do but my eyesight is pretty poor so its really important I can hear things in the right ways
I used to own 7.1 logitechs. Now I own three different headphones and they do exactly the same thing 7.1 did. The only difference is that they have a far superior soundstage and I don't need software to make them run. On top of that, they aren't USB, which is an amazing bonus. I have Audio-Technica ATH-M40x and Philips SHP9500. First one are studio monitors so they aren't really stereo, second one are 'open-air' and have the best soundstage I've seen yet, similar to Audio Technica AUD ATHAD500X in quality. 7.1 surround in a headset is 100% software, and does something you already get with properly built stereo headphones. So long as they're decent headphones that is. The reality is that it's a marketing scheme, you can't even actually fit 7.1 physical speakers in headphones so the marketing doesn't even make sense.
Thanks man Ill take a look. See Ive never had any issues on any other games but Rust and I have friends with the same headset that have no issues. I understand 7.1 isn't the best by far in terms of audio quality but for what I need it for this headset has been great. Mic is clear and sounds are crisp. Before this I had a pair of Philips SGHD7980s and although they did me well for the price they eventually fell apart, quite literally haha but that was 2 years later so fair enough was only £35. I will definitely keep an eye out for a better set as I really cant be arsed with all these software issues but until then Ill take a look at those fixes thank you
