Video was released on July 12th, but the remix was probably made earlier than that. Fits Valve really.
I think the only way to get Valve to release Half-Life 3 is if players could massively protest Steam on a particular day. Currently Valve has no incentive to continue the series because they just make so much money collecting commissions for game sales.
Weird how one soundtrack can make you so nostalgic about a certain time period
I wasn't even old enough to experience the half life series with everyone else but I still feel a immense sense of nostalgia whenever I hear it.
This makes me so nostalgic I wanna cry
I love the shit out of this track, thank you for posting it.
I wonder what the maker of this remix is doing now.
His remix was so good that he was placed in stasis next to Freeman, Half-Life 2's plot was a complex set of symbolisms that talked about a real invasion that was happening in Valve's offices and them attempting to stop it, but so far the combines won.
Their new office actually has Combine walls that look like the ones from HL2
That Long Train Ride was originally released on February 19, 2005. This track is over thirteen and a half years old.

A good reminder of who they were. Maybe they will revisit it some day.

He has a remix of CP Violation too but I couldn't see a Youtube version.
