Yeah, though it's in decline. This season of the show is planned to be the last. (though there's some reboot planned or something.) I kinda wish I was more involved with the fandom back in the day since I had met so many nice people through it tbh.

the writing on the show went way down hill in the last few years. the fandom has also quieted down. there's a definate difference between the earlier seasons and the later ones, now the show has settled into a groove of being a kids show without that sort of spark the earlier seasons had.

Honestly, bronies get a bad rep from the really loud and obnoxious ones who want to assure the world of their bizarre sexual attractions to animated ponies. I've talked to plenty of bronies and furries both IRL and online. 90% are totally reasonable people that are just eccentric in how they represent themselves. With that said: when they are bad, they are really, really unbearable.

I haven't heard anything about radical changes to the show at this point. As far as I'm aware the show still has absikid enough following to keep in production. Really the reason is because "bronies" really just grew up and chilled the fuck out. They saw it for just the show it really is and treated it as such. Personally, since season 4 I just disengaged myself from the community while still watching it when it comes out. I don't go on forums, look up fanart, or what have you.
