Holy moley, we're in for some gossip and chatter. Manli Technology Group, yes from the graphics cards, has a registered EEC certification for their products. And if you read closely you'll notice the mention of a GA104 graphics processor, something never released by NVIDIA.
The exact GPU name is there, smack down in that wall of text, posted at portal.eaeunion.org which is the Information portal of the Eurasian Economic Union. And kudos to whoever noticed that first (this report was first posted on Videocardz btw). So are we back to Ampere now? A name first noticed and noted in a German forum. Have a peek below, the page was translated btw
Now if you think that's it, nope .. guess what else is posted here? Manli has registered a GeForce GTX 2070 and 2080 here. Well, never a dull day eh? Thanks, SH SOTN for the news submit.

Ahhh, still easier to follow than radeon RX 360SE XXX nonsense. To this day I still don't know how the entire catalog for their cards work.
wheres GeForceGTX 2080 TI?
Usually the Ti versions come later.
Should have called it the gtx one
Atm theres daily deals for the 1080 for 450$ in the US.
5 months ago they wanted 680$
gtx i
gtx mmlxxx
I just want a 1080ti to replace my 960 but nope fucking bitcoin cunts
hopefully these will drag attention from the masses of miners
guess i'll have to keep looking
Who knows what they name them this time.
There was another leak that called them 1160, 1170, 1180 and a 1180+.
Some words of caution, while this is a real certification, it is possible that the company is using placeholder names and the actual nomenclature is something else.
calm down DICE, MICROSOFT
I kinda feel like we’re getting to the point of diminishing returns, at least for a GPU’s desktop gaming uses. At this point we’re getting to 1440p and 4K gaming for less than $500 but the cheap monitor department is still dominated by 1920x1080. G-Sync being so expensive doesn’t help either.
I’d like to see these graphics processors shine in laptops. We began to see that with the 10 series and the GTX 1050 in many laptops but this time I think we could see more.
if you are talking about midrange cards, then sure, we are reaching a point where the midrange cards can run pretty much any title at 1080p maxed out, and even the less demanding titles at 1440p or high refresh rates. that is great for pc gaming because it means pretty much anyone can take advantage of whatever they need the card for (high refresh rate, high res, or VR). but as far as display tech goes, we are now starting to see high-refresh rate 4K panels (120+Hz) and pretty much no card is able to fully push those displays at max settings yet (afaik). even the newest titan struggles to push fortnite at max settings at 4k 120hz. not to mention the fact that displayport 1.6 is the only transmission protocol to actually support that much bandwidth and is hard to actually get your hands on/isn't fully adopted yet.
now that i actually think about it, i suppose we are kind of hitting diminishing returns in the fact that the performance jump from generation to generation is getting smaller as die sizes are harder and harder to harvest. it looks like the rendering demands are only going to continue to increase (8k is on the horizon, or the rumored gen 2 oculus rift with 2x1440p 120hz panels), so it will be interesting to see what amd and nvidia can bring to the table.
For anybody curious, do NOT get the MSI Armor 1080 or 1080Ti. It will thermal throttle, the cooler literally cannot handle the TDP of the package.
Exception: you should absolutely get it if you intend to install a custom cooler or water block, the Armor has a very good PCB.
'Twenty Eighty' doesn't roll off the tongue very well.
I cant wait for them to release 8080s so I can replace them with my 8800s.
I bought a wonderful 2560 x 1440 monitors for 450$. It’s genuinely the best looking screen I’ve ever owned
