i recently downloaded a version of devblog 48 and launched it up and there were no servers but i didnt care i just wanted to play single player so how would i make a single player server for devblog 48 or just play singleplayer
There is no such thing as a "singleplayer" with most games.
Let's take minecraft as an example here, It may seem like there would be a singleplayer option, but all it does is start a local minecraft server and connect to it.
So the answer to your question is, host your own server locally or public whilst blacklisting everyone but yourself. (or simply update your damn client, like wtf)

Yes, what Smcfreak says. Rust doesn't have a Singleplayer. Alternatively, you could just have your own server, privately to yourself and play Singleplayer that way. But other than that, there is no such thing as a Rust Singleplayer, believe me if it were; Rust would never have it's Rusty charm.
