"Beyond the walls of City Seventeen, a young smuggler wanders the wilderness in search of a better life—and an escape from his own troubled past..." Finally finished this comic after nearly six years. Special thanks to Agilor, Zurf3r, Fort, and Mythos for their support and contributions. https://metrocop.files.wordpress.com/2018/07/kaden_01_00.jpg Posting full size images on Facepunch isn't what it used to be, so click ***HERE*** to read the full 40-page comic on Metrocop. Thanks in advance for reading, and feel free to leave a comment with your feedback and criticism. Always looking for ways to improve. And of course, stay tuned for future releases.
Dang, I really liked it. You made the action really interesting and I liked how threatening the manhacks actually were. Was that all done in Gmod?
The lighting and technical work on every frame was great, well done
This has been a looong time in the making, hasn't it? I've seen some of these panels before. The time pays off. This is fuckin sweet
Fucking aced it, man.
Pretty much all GMod except for a few SFM screenshots where lots of particle effects were involved. Ideally I'd like to switch over to SFM entirely (far better posing, lighting, and rendering tools in my opinion) but map compatibility and a cumbersome UI remain the biggest obstacles to that for me. Thank you! And thanks again for sharing your specs with me back when I was building my system. Correct, in fact the oldest screenshot I have on file is from October 2012. I was a sophomore in college when I started this. The script itself was something I wrote in early 2008 and then dug up again in mid-2011. Glad it all paid off and you enjoyed the comic. :)
That was amazing!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have another comic on the way so stay tuned.
12 years I've been around the Garry's Mod comics community in one capacity or another, even collecting literally about half a thousand of them on a website. And this one is still one of the best I've ever read. Congratulations, Orpheus. It was worth the wait.
Superb comic! Enjoyed it very much. Brought back that nostalgic feeling from the 2000s.
Oooh, this takes me back to the good old days. For the most part the writing quality stands above most of the stuff we ever got around here, and I really dig how dangerous you made the manhacks. Looking forward to seeing more!
