I cant hear any ingame audio and its only happening in rust

I'm not sure if this is a glitch in the game or my audio files are messed up but for some reason I cant
hear any audio and I cant play because of it all my audio settings are up all the way also and I've
restarted my computer and uninstalled and reinstalled the game also. if anyone can explain to me what is going on.
