It's pretty crazy watching this video, and seeing just how much slower you're actually going when compared to more modern racers. Kinda explains why I've gradually gotten worse and worse at racing games over time lol

That looks so much worse than I remember Most Wanted looking. I'm guessing it's the lake of shaders and other vfx. But man, I haven't played those games in like a decade and I was watching it and just thinking "Oh man, there is a T-junction up ahead, better slow down or move to the outside."

The main thing that's missing is the Sunlight and real-time shadows that gave Most Wanted that distinct yellow look even without the excessive color filter. You have to remember that Carbon takes place during the night, so it has a more blue color scheme.
