• Leak but point file won't show me where

Right, this has been bugging me for like the past hour. In my map, there appears to be a leak, but the point file literally just picks a random entity and pretends like it's leaked out of the map or some shit. Every time I compile the map without making a single change, the entity that it picks to say there is a leak for changes every time. When this happened, I was creating a new room. I have literally counted the pixels in and out the room and places around it too, can't find any leaks into the void. I am compiling with fast and HDR enabled. Compile log: ** Executing... ** Command Sorry if this isn't the right place to post. I'm new. Many thanks.
Yeah sometimes Hammer likes to be an asshole and the pointfile doesn't show you the leak. In that case the best solution is to find it by yourself, which can be a massive pain in the ass.
Yeah I did that the first few times it happened, then came a point when something else occurred and I spent a ridiculous amount of time on it. I managed to fix it by deleting the files that the .vmf file created (such as the .vmx file etc). After that the point file actually became useful again.
That's good to know, that might end up helping me next time.
